Fried rings, where to buy rebuild?

Well im looking to buy a rebuild kit for my a20 in the accord. The rings are kinda, for lack of better terms, dead.

Today the car just randomly started sounding like an sti at very low rpm's, i figured "maybe its just a plug wire loose" and checked it when i got home. But to my surprise, nope. Then it hit me, dammit... rings.

Id like to get a little more performance out of it, but im sure just rebuilt to STOCK specs will be more then enough.

    Ideas/opinions?

Its my winter beater so i need to have it no matter what.

I like Hastings rings. They are great. Here is a link to a set.

These are what I am running and they are hard to beat!

I would replace bearing while you are down there. King and ACL aregreat or good old Clevite are alright.

Integra rod bearings out of a B18A/b are the same and 90-93 accord main bearings are the same.

My suggestion would be to see what shape the cylinder bores are in before buying anything. You need to see if a cylinder hone is suffecient enough to hone the cylinder bores or if you need a mild machine bore.

I would definately check the bore, main bearing jornals, and rod bearing journals. They should be fine but you never know. Aboout a year ago I replaced the rods in one of my 3g and I got hte rods for like $19 a piece from Bumper to Bumper

    re-build.
Use Honda pistons only unless you want custom forged, re-bore it anyway 83mm would be fine, hastings rings are good used them myself, Clevitte use ACL bearings, TOGA are okay as well, don't forget buy a new oil and water pump while your at it. Headgasket kit get Felpro best on the market and don't forget to use flange sealant on the outer metal bearing holders for the crank and camshaft, as well as around the sump gasket, and also a little around the crank seal outside edges, otherwise your engine will leak oil everywhere!!.

upon further inspection, one of the spark plug wires was the verge of going and was only giving about 1/2 spark on occasion, thus allowing it to still RUN on 4cylinders, but get that missing sound.

Once the car started doing it, i just parked it, and ive been busy... just got around to it... all is well, for now.

Now my alternator is about to go lol, got a case of ice around it and shorted out... caught on fire

Pace-shitter header, full 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust, borla pro xs muffler

I wouldn't use ebay bearing myself. Honda bearings have a precise size. That size is stamped on the engine and you need to get the proper size for each main bearing and rod bearing.
