    convertible rear seats?

anyone have a way to make the rear seats fold down in the sedan version, like a hatchbak? the trunk is already huge and all, but i could really use an even bigger space back there.

i think if you go to a junkyard you might find a 2gee with rear seats that fold down unless that option wasnt avalable with 2geez

    Re: convertible rear seats?

Anything is possible but it would mean having to cut metal out from behind the rear seat back then reinforcing the seat backing itself & fitting catches & the like. A lot of work... get a hatch!

You'll need a hatch. Maybe retrofit the hatch rear seats into the sedan, and cut out that body structure. Though you might add some serious body flex if you do that and don't reinforce it.
