2004-2011?
hmmm i thought grip force was name brand?
nvm
how many mods do you have? i'm going to go out on a limb and say that for 80% of the people on this forum, a stage 1 clutch is more than enough for them. and for <$100, it looks like a good deal. might as well grab it while they have a whole bunch.
on the gripforce website they're selling a gripforce oem replacement for $105 with free shipping.. but the gripforce ebay seller is selling a gripforce stage 1 for $104? and there is no stage 1 clutch on the website... seems fishy to me. anybody have one of these clutches? the gripforce website sells the exedy oem for $10 more than the gripforce one
what does stage 1 even mean?

be careful with ebay. ebay is flooded with fake Chinese parts. they are cheap and fall apart all the time.
fine a nice dealer and order from them. stage 1 should be more than enough for you at this moment.
Alex.
I think stage 1 refers to the level of horsepower range the clutch can handle. Our stock clutch can't handle too much horsepower so you wil have to upgrade to a better clutch. Im looking into getting one of these myself.Originally Posted by frantik
i am more worried about cheap parts/ fake su know... but considering they have a whole ebay store ana make clutches for 300zx for like 300$ and they just seem kinda like they arnt so cheep...
beside the cast iron pressure plate... i think thats what drops the price

i would just buy a stock replacement exedy i got mine for like $100 shipped and it's not fake
If you want an aftermarket clutch get one from clutchnet.com. Not the cheapest around but the quality is excellent. I have a red level (stage 3) clutch plate with an organic sprung hub disk. It grips like hell but is still easy to feather.
