I have this growling noise from rear right wheel, after 3 days replacing the bad front CV joint![]()
How long can I drive with noisy wheel bearing like this? Yeah I am 100% broke right now. I spent a lot of money on this car this month alone.

It's grinding? I woudln't drive on it too long. But a new wheel bearing is like $6.00. You'll need an inner and outer on the rear and new bearing races to hammer into the drum. I'm assuming of course that the drums on the 1g are just like the 2g.
Take it apart. thats free. look at it it might be just the brake shoes or something.
Same as the CV joint boot repack the bearing with grease if its in one piece still that should keep you rolling.

Yup, the wheel bearing is bad. Theres some metal shaving in there and the bearing itself looked black (cooked? fried? dunno what word to use hehe) Replaced both rear bearing as the left side is starting to make some noise too.
did you use honda bearings?
