you would get lucky if you get 30-40k on a set of performance tires.

yeah that's why i really think the falken fk-452's will be a better buy for street and autocross driving versus the falken rt-615's which mostly is a track tire.
will i need the resistor box for the dsm 450cc injectors if i put them in the EG?
Kumho are rubbish especially the 712's
i think kumhos are alright for a cheap performance tire alternative. i've had kumhos lasting longer than my BFG's. and BFG's aren't cheap tires. the best all-around performance kumho tire to get is the kumho spt-ku31. but it's not cheap and well in the price of other expensive performance tires.

One of my friends ran those first falkens on his 240 and loved them, but they didn't last very long... Another friend is running 712's on his 240, and they seem to be a really good balance between grip and durability... especially with rain and such.
Also, are you going turbo or nitrous?... if not may I ask why you are upgrading your fuel pump and injectors?... On a d-series motor with just bolt ons I don't see much of a point in adding those fuel components unless going FI.

well i'm pretty much sticking with the mini-me conversion for awhile....then maybe turbo 5-6psi cus of the high compression just to get a few more power out of the d...hence the fuel pump, fuel management, fpr, and injectors.
mainly it's to install everything in preparation for my last project on this car which is an engine swap. since it's so easy with this car, it'd be the wise thing to do in terms of performance. i'm just putting all the parts in the car that i would otherwise keep (i.e. suspension, brake, fuel, spark, and intake upgrades). for when i do the engine swap with turbo, everything is installed, good and ready. the injectors, distributor, and throttle body can be switched over to the new engine. the p28 ecu can be reprogrammed to run a DOHC engine. i'm thinking boosted GSR swap....well GSR first, then build it, then boost it![]()

Ah cool cool... sounds like a good plan. But ya I wouldn't put the injectors in until you get the fuel pump and are ready for a tune.

maybe i'll just stick with a FPR for now, as much as the stock fuel pump can handle. i'm trying to save $300 to get that MSD 6A external coil kit.
hey how come the accord bumper is different in that pic with the civic?
