were is the radiator drain bolt?
were is the radiator drain bolt?
I belive its on the radiator right in the middle at the bottom, you can see it if you look down in the engine compartment at the radiator , its on the bottom of the radiator.
yep right at the bottom. if you still have that plastic underbody gaurd stuff youll see a hole with a black drain/spikit type of thing sticking out. unscrew it alittle before taking the top off the radiator. expect between 1 and 2 gallons.
u may snap the drain bolt if its too tight. if it seems like its gonna snap. either invert the radiator with no choice and drain it or just take the whole damn drain screw off the radiator.
You can also just pull the lower radiator hose off the radiator. Messy, but effective. It also drains some of the block that way.
I cut out a larger hole in my splashpan below the radiator drain so I don't have to take the whole thing off to change the coolant.
ok so is it a bolt ? like the oil pan, or is it a little plastic like thing, i saw that but dont know how to get it off
is the plastic screw with wings
Be careful with it. Don't break it.
