i haven't quite figured out where the eq is going. i've thought about in the console under the deck but for one thing it would be alot more visible than i would like and i'm trying to track down a set of cupholders.

Im going to get eq soon too. I've thought of installing it inside the glovebox. Its not that we need to adjust the knobs very often anyway.

Oh when I had them in my cars I was constantley adjusting , to tweek each kind of music or just to adjust to my 'mood'
I figured out it was just too dangerous to have one because I just about wrecked so many times. On the Accord, there is just no where to mount unless you make an overhead console. That is, no where unless you choose the factory type location which is down low and way out of the line of vision for driving.
But then again, newer base units are a lot better than they used to be, you just about do not need an equalizer, esp if you use a nice crossover unit.

the OEM tape slot is one of the best locations...plus if you have it long enough you wont need to look down while tuning it

I have that same exact radio but mine has the music catcher feature. I have 2 of them (in the Accord and in the Civic).

    I really like this deck.

    nice

that EQ looks like a 1/2 DIN, if it is you can make it fit in the SEi junk slot under the cupholders with some dremel trimming
The glove box sucks depth-wise but that unit looks like it might just make it. the indentation of the glove box lock will be in the way, make sure you take it into account before cutting.

my EQ is going in my trunk. i'm a "set it and forget it" kind of person.

and i like a fairly flat response, which is why i want an EQ.

it is 1/2 Din, so if it will fit under the cupholders i'll probably do that. if not, i'm building a mounting plate to go inside the glove box. i am leaning a little more towards putting it in the glovebox though to keep it out of sight.
