    front grill chrome

    how do i chrome out my front grill framing (the part between the headlights) mines a nasty black plastic crap color and want the slickeness of the chrome look... how can i chrome that bad boy out?

    find a grill that had the chrome on it and replace it. some had them and some didn't in the 86,87 grille, not sure which models had what though.

    Actually, all accords have the chrome. Just pull the plastic trim off and its chrome underneath.

    Funny I see a lot of completely stock 86,87 Accords with a black suround. All 88,89's had a chrome lip on teh top but I don't think that hte early ones all did.

    Well one day I was looking at both my Accords with Markmdz, My black LXi and my Blue DX hatch. He pointed out that my LXi had a chrome front peice and my DX didnt. So we proceeded to the DX and pulled up on the black peice. Sure enough it as chrome underneath. I also remember my mom's old 87 LX had that chrome peice up front too.

    nope... all back plastic.. no other kind of material but the black plastic... maybe something happened to the original and it got replaced with this junk part? anyway... i gonn try paint first.. if not then ill see about getting another one.. mainly because there are like no junkyards by me.. literally.. can anyone know anything that would work better then paint

    THe hatch didn't det the chrome in 86

    well it will be taken care of... he 87 didnt get chrome either... i just baught some chrome spray paint, lol its a lil ricey but hey it works
