what? they aren't bright enough. you should have taken my (and java's) advice and at least tried out a few luxeons before you went into production on a product that's largely useless for its intended use.
remember, you need to see these things from a good 100 feet away in broad daylight. our stock bulbs barely do that, and these aren't as bright as our stock bulbs.

i think the blinking speed can be fixed. worst case, you add some huge ballast resistors to make the appearant load higher. you could also build a new circuit to detect blown bulbs. something that would only alert on an open circuit instead of what we currently have now, which will alert with a working closed circuit that's not drawing enough amperage.
maybe that's something i'll work on.
yeah i thought bitesize used resisters so it will still put out 12v but knock it down to like 3 or 4 for the LEDs
