    Cheap but decent 15" wheels

I need to find some cheap but decent, somewhat light wheels. I want 15" wheels so I can get tires that like to grip the road. Just don't have much choice with my stock 13" steel wheels. I was talking with a friend that has a kind of 'non-professional' shop with a lift and everything and I was talking about just getting 15" steels (to an extent I don't care what they look like, I want performance, but he said they flex around turns. Is this true? If so, what are some really cheap, but solid wheels to look into? I want most of my money to go to the tires.

lol, if you want light ugly rims then slips or slip knockoffs are the way to roll.

if you want good looking wheels then motegi tracklite or tracklite2's are fucking awesome looking, and weigh less than 10 lbs.

If I can work that around my $2500 in fines you got a deal, no promises though, I was actually looking at those exact wheels on there. The almost flat black ones that weigh like 11lbs right?

No, it is not the wheel, it is your tyre that flex. Your tyre may be 185/70/13 means, height of the tyre is 70% of 185mm width (calculate please). If you have 15 inch wheel for example, you will use 195/55/15 means, the height of the tyre is 55% of 195mm (calculate please). The height of the tyre is much less = more rigid if you compare with same brand of tyre. It also means, the ride will be a bit stiffer but I believe that is what you want.
You can go with steel wheel but, if you have to pay for it, don't. If you buy alloy wheel, check the weight and buy something lighter than around 15 pounds per wheel if you can. If you are on budget then look for OEM option wheel at junk yard - look for Mazda Miyata OEM alloy wheel - some of them are very light like 10 pounds. Dont buy heavy wheels cos it will slow your car down (it is proven, search on the net), bad mile/galon and bad cornering - they say below suspension weight reduction is 15 times as effective as above suspension weight reduction. Buy offset less than +38mm (like +40 or +45 would be the best) or your tyre will sticking out from the fender unless you want have that hot-rod look! Check out what kind of wheel other member here have - that will give you a bit of idea.
