Accord has been replaced with a 2004 Solara SE Sport with 3.3 VVT-i V6...man does that car move...
Yep, you cooked that thing off. I cooked mine something fierce about two weeks ago... hot enough to grill steaks on.
Best thing to do is get a new clutch... a stage 2, unless your car has been modded to the point that it will eat stock clutches, then a stage 3 is your best bet.

"215/45/17's" got stock shocks? then ur screwed. 215? ur screwed again unless u wanna be scraping your wheel well while trying to turn. 205 is the max u can go. get stiffer shocks and coils if u dont have one and then try getting new wheels and tires.
how about ACT clutches guys? are they good? my friend got em fixed in his corolla this weekened.
you said i would be screwed with 215/45/17's? i had them on for the past week and they were fine... i even have sagging old springs and shox on it right now!!! shows how much you know...

you'll be driving a truck
well if you need it
Lets not get frisky here. I was not talking to just you buddy, i was talking to every member who was reading it. going with 45 tirewall height is not for ur shocks, i was talking about your rims. Cause its easy to get them smacked hitting pot holes.Originally posted by DXHATCHBACK

Next, 215 is not for our cars, unless u run with offsets (dont know exact numbers for that). I know anything is possible, but why spend on a 215 instead of a 205 which costs u hella more $$.
i was not trying to BUllshit or crap talk with my post, if thats the kinda impression you got. What i was mentioning was that if you wanna do it right just follow the proper procedures.

this is your thread. U know what Jim was talkin about. Just cause it did not do anything on ur car. Does not mean it works on every 3g out there.

Check around on eBay, there's almost always an OEM clutch kit or upgrade clutch kit for our cars floating around.
