Before and after. I got a lot of tips and theoretically I should be able to dyno tune it on my own next time. I'm very happy with the results and now I have a basemap for a mildly tuned B20A if anyone else needs something to start from.

That's a very nice upgrade!
I can't wait until mine is dyno tuned too. I would really like to use your basemap as a starting point.

I need these parts!

Sure, you can have it, I just need to download it from the ecu/ostrich. Did you convert to obd1 yet?
The stock injectors almost maxed out at standard fuel pressure, so if I make any changes to the engine that requires more fuel I will have to raise the fuel pressure significantly or use bigger injectors.
How much horsepower does it have?
168.3HP and 184.6Nm torque. If I raised the rev limiter I'm certain it would go past 170hp but the stock valvetrain probably wont be happy about that in the long run.
I'm sure the bottom end would suffer more than the valvetrain. These engines aren't meant to be pushed past that rev limit. I guess that 7500 would still be Ok tough.
I didn't convert to obd1 yet. I made the adapter harness and I already got the ECU but I'm missing the distributor. I also need to wire the O2 heater and weld the fitting on the downpipe for it. Oh, and it seems I'll need bigger injectors too

No idea really but I wouldnt call it light I havent done any weight reductions. But there's plenty of go in it now compared to the stock B20A2 engine that the car was born with.Originally Posted by MessyHonda

Very nice dyno.
oh and for some american people it is 136.14 lb. ft. torque.
very good numbers.
the only question I have is why between 1500 and 2000 rpm there is that dip. it starts out very nice, but than platoes and goes backup. why is it? not enough fuel?
Alex.
There seems to be some sort of flow problem in that specific area, it just wouldnt take any fuel, it's unbelievable how little fuel it wanted there.
But as long as it's just in that area it doesnt matter. It's not like my intake is anything to brag about, so there might be something hiding there.
what intake manifold are you using?
Alex.
Standard B16A2 manifold.
I cant wait to dyno my B20a Turbo

have you thought about going with something better like aftermarket intake manifold?
Alex.

Theoretically I dont see anything wrong about raising the redline to ~8000rpm as long as you get the bottom end balanced, put in lighter pistons and rods and get a stronger valvetrain. But yea with stock engine 7000rpm is preferable to be safe.Originally Posted by carotman
Screw the O2 heater, you can disable that in Crome.
So, got that program ready yet?

Thumbs up to that, manOriginally Posted by thegreatdane
Here's my basemap carotman, it needs a little part throttle fuel tuning. I was going to make that perfect first but my datalogging stopped working after the dyno tune and I cant for the life of me get it to work again which is quite frankly pissing me off right now.
You might want to just copy the table values and make a new rom in Crome to avoid any issues with any plugins I might have added in my rom that you might not have installed.
