    MMM b17 goodness

    so i just got a hold of a b17 block with pistons and crank. i also have the a20a4 motor sitting in my garage and my co worker offered me a b17 block for free and i didnt really know what they went into so i looked it up and its out of a 93-95 gsr integra. im stoked to start rebuilding it. now all i have to do is find a head and ecu and wire harness then i will be all set after i rebuild it.

    b17 block...i think that came out of a 90-93 GSR. the b18c5 came in like 95 and up GSRs

    The B17A1 came in the Integra GSR and was sold between 92 and 93. The GSR trim line was not available on the 90-91 Integra. It's basically a stroked B16A, you can use that as a reference when trying to locate parts.

    Should swap in the same as a B16A, so if you can locate a set of the oh-so-elusive B16 swap mounts you'll be golden. Otherwise it's time to start fabbing!

    Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

    make sure you convert to EFI first, or it would be a night mare trying to wirring everything up.

    You wanna sell one of those B17 blocks?... I'm building a b17 for my cousin only to find out that his block is cracked.. So i'm in the process of tracking down a b17 or a b16 block...

    how much you willing to offer? and just a fyi the pistons are rusted in there. but i will probably get them out b4 i do anything so ya.

    why not run DCOE, then you wouldn't have to worry about the EFI wiring. do a vtec delete and have fun!
