Joel (offthahook) sent me a link to that 81. That is a clean ride right there. I say for a good runner, it's a great price. Replace the damaged seats, and you're good to roll in a classic! Get it!![]()
get the 81![]()

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
WHATS WRONG WITH CARBS?!
(not like i have any problem passing you..........)![]()
there's nothing wrong with carbed versions, it's just that you can get an lxi for close to the same price and get a lot more features.
Even if the cars had the same features, carbed engines do have less HP and the carb has to be adjusted more.. plus theres a whole bunch of vacuum hoses and stuff which clutter up the engine bay.

lmao...go for efi on a dd. imo, only if you plan to build one up for the track or something where you can use big carbs should you buy a carbed one. and you might be able to knock a few dollars off of those listed prices, especially if they've been listed for awhile and the person just wants it out of there.

i meen 3geez not new cars who would put a carb on a new car![]()

i've seen a crx with a carbed d16 with over 200 hp. that's a car that's usually the recipient of the likes of a built b-series for most people looking for power. so yes, people do still put carbs on newer cars (although the crx isn't exactly the newest car). however, most people are simply scared of carbs and don't want to deal with having to do the fine tuning and adjusting that carbs come with.Originally Posted by civic accord honda
Even tho you can tune a carb, you have to have the knowledge to do so. Anyways i would go with the 81.Originally Posted by civic accord honda

what could be a potentially potent set-up is a computer-controlled carb. all the benefits of carb with the ability of having it fully adjustable by the computer so you don't have to adjust it. because computers tend to be more precise than most people.
well, since this is the craigslist thread, i figured i'd post some of the goodies i found. not all 3g accords but still pretty good deals. all are under $13,000 and in the los angeles area...
02 rsx-s
02 rsx-s
02 rsx-s
turbo rsx-s
all those accords are too expensive IMO...
i got my LX-i sedan for 600 bucks, needed an axle and has a little rust but ran the balls.
