does anyone have a part number for a belt than i can use for the power steering pump and not the A/C compressor also? it seems like it would
be a smaller belt than a stock one for both the pump and A/C compresor.

The power steering pump has its own belt and so does the a/c compressor. So you need the belt for the power steering?

there are 3 belts on our engines. 1st runs the Power steering pump. 2nd, runs the AC pump and 3rd one runs, water pump and alternator.
just go to autoparts store and ask for Power steering belt.
It is V chaped belt.
Alex.
Yeah, the power steering pump is driven by its own belt, as is the AC compressor. The only belts that drive multiple items are the timing belt (cam and oil pump), and the alternator belt (water pump and alternator).
Did you ever figure out what was keeping your car from running?
yeah my ac compressor seized so it does not turn....when i got it...it had no belt and my power steering runs fine

ok. thanks everyone. vanilla sky, it was a combination of bad filters, bad fuel relay and bad carburator. i put a dgev on it after new filters and
test clip the relay circuit, runs great. needs a new rack cause it started
leaking about 6 months before i wrecked it.
