    Need help... wanting to make intake

    i was reading the how to on how to make an intake... i would like to try to make one..... any ways .... i need some things cleared up that i dont know....


    i know that the red part u remove ... (correct me if im wrong) the green part (i thing its the air filter box) does that get removed as well??? also the yellow part that has to go to connect the new intake but y does the pipe that there curve down and connect sum where else? i dont know wut to do there... thanks for any help ... hopefully wut im saying isnt confusing

    you can leave the air filter box (green part) if you want, but the other two must go. the yellow thing is the elbow that connects the filter box to the throttle body.

    oh ok so its just connecting back to the air filter....... i can take the air filter box out to right? or does it still serve a purpose?? thanks alot u really cleared that up for me ...

    you can take it out, you can leave it in, it's all up to you. you're gonna have a filter on your new intake anyway, so it serves no purpose anymore. however, if you're short on time, it doesn't have to come out right away. but it only takes all of 5 mins max to remove it.

    look at your yellow line again it goes right in to the fuel line, just take everything out and ull see what needs to go were there will be one intake pipe and one breather house

    You'll be so glad you did it when you're done. That design is very restrictive to air flow.

    You can even move your battery and use less bends in the piping

    I mounted it in the trunk using 2gauge wire

    the yellow part bends under the car and connects to the air filter box. you should take all of the black plastic stuff off. to remove the filter box, first remove the filter cover (held on with clips) then remove the rest of the box (held on with 10mm bolts)

    Im thinkin about doin mine to the hatch... not sure though, cuz i like my space...

    all my tubing is off, just a hole straight to the box, makes it a little better, but im gettin a custom one made as well...

    I would really hope that you do. Batteries cannot only spill, but they also emit gases that are harmful.
