Well, those trannies have a different rear mount I think. YOu would need to make an adapter for that rearm ount too.

The rear trany mount on the newer trany would be better then we can get rid of the dog bone mount now that would be sweet.

Now that is a good Q. I think if the any trany works well with the B18 non vtec should work well with the B20a like the GSR trany.

Yeah I was thinking a b18 would be a good replacement tranny, or one for a 5 speed swap tranny, but what about somthing proformance wise? Is it possable or even worth trying to adapt an lsd? I mean if your gonna go for it, ispesily (sp) in your case with the turbo you may want to look into the lsd

Would you get an adapter/spacer made for the flywheel as well?

i hear the b16 spec lsd fits the b20a tranny with no or micro mods, but i definitely don't know for sure. but no need to adapt any lsd. if you get the plate to bolt on a b-series tranny, then just get a b-series tranny with the lsd already in it.

Hey twoloud I thought you had a B20a 5 speed tranny already? Do you need another tranny for your other 3gee or something?

Good point on the Y1. It would deffenitly be a nice improvement. If the shipping to Canada is reasonable I'm in for one.

Yes i do But my fear is blowing my trany to hell with the turbo now if i have a Adapter Plate to a USDM trany i have no need to worry about getting a other one to replace it.

did a drawing or something ever come about with this adapter. I would like to see at least a similar piece maybe made for another Honda or something to see what it takes.
