hmm...yet another fake 3g catastrophe story. but sucks about the door. but at least it's your first time and hopefully it doesn't happen again.
yeah i almost hit it b-4 it is hard to drive the car u gotta give it alot of gas or it stall's out and u cant ease off the clutch it just pushs your foot off it alot of force

If you pulse the gas it wont take off fast. Plus learn how to drive a stick better that way it wont stall. I do not stall mine going up the driveway nor do i hit the garage door.

Then find the point where the clutch engages and don't let out to much clutch. And it also sounds like you have a vacuum leak.Originally Posted by civic accord honda

you need one of these to help you with your driving, http://www.gemmy.com/products/largeImage/30655_copy.jpg
how did you hit a garage door? there are plenty of cars with much harder to operate clutches then the accord, and thier owners don't go through doors. why do you have a stage two clutch anyway? you haven't modified the motor. that seems like a lot of wasted time and money to put in. a stock motor isn't approiate for that kind of clutch.
cuz the shop said it was the only one thay got working thay tryed 3 diff stock ones and thay could not get the car to go in reversveso thay put a Stage 2 one in thay said it was the only one thay got working and i was planing on fixing up the engine but i say fuck it now the car is hopeless and going to a JY in a few months so i can start looking for a hatch.....anyway idk how i hit the door i guse i was not paying alot of atenon and i had the radio all the way up ....anyway its no big deal and my perents thout it was funny as hell and kids next door allready crashed there bike into the garage door and dented it and we rent so who cares lol

I have the OEM Exedy clutch in mine and i have no problems with reverse. Sometimes it wont go into reverse, but if you put it into 1st then reverse it's fine. I cannot see how a clutch will prevent the tranny to go into reverse...

WHAT IS WRONG WITH WHOEVER PUT THAT CLUTCH IN? if it's a stock transmission and a stock motor and the clutch won't work, something is wrong with the mechanic putting it in. the clutch has nothing to do with reverse, if it's in and adjusted right it should work. I think your mechanic was eithierOriginally Posted by civic accord honda
