Cleared my turn signals - need opinions :)

yeah, the clears look good on your car. especially since you have the green one and the 88-89 bumper.

keep the clears, but smoke em a wee bit. that'd be best. your right, they are a little bright right now. i've cleared mine, but the lense is a little pitted so it isnt too bright and works quite well imo

the clear has kinda grown on me haha like usual i dont like something at first but then it gets better lol... though I still like the idea of smoking them a bit.

I got some orange bulbs and i'm gonna try and see how they look tomorrow

on your car pico i think the clear with silvered bulbs looks real good but they seem to stand out too much on mine.. i think maybe the orange bulbs might help things but even more i think smoking them to match the way the jdm corners look will make an improvement.

I think they look great! but I think with the color of your car amber bulbs and maybe smoking them would LOOK GREAT!

I think the clears look great on Pico's due to the color of his car, but on a darker green they kinda bright IMO.

I have mine cleared with orange bulbs. They do not look stock IMO.

Ok i tried the orange bulbs and they look better though I still think they need to be smoked too I will post pix tomorrow cause it was too dark by the time i was finished

dude bitesize I freaking lost those LEDs I got them out yesterday to install them and now i don't know where they are.

i found them.. they were on the sidewalk next to my car! lol.. they were there a few days but luckily nobody grabbed em I tried em out.. but they're kinda dim looking inside the corner I should have gotten a wide angle shot but it was getting late and I only had my crappy cam since the batteries died on the other one anyways here's a pic:

I say smoke 'em if ya got 'em, but I'm biased. Here's a before n after:

Both corners and fronts are cleared, smoked and have clear bulbs now.
Fronts are lightly tinted compared to corners.

Just the outside. No clear coat, so they're looking a little worn by now. I'll just call it a satin finish.

the other bulbs did kinda grow on me.. im gonna use them after all still wanna try a lil bit of smoke though. I was thinking of doing it on the inside though then i have to deal with taking em apart and putting them back together again :\

I think it depends on the color of the car. The lighter the paint, the better clears look. I think they look great the way they are.

Over at picos I swapped my orange bulbs out for the silvered ones again lol.. i think i like the silver/blue better than the orange

i tried em but they don't really fill in the whole light.. it's hella directional. I'm gonna try to sand em down and see if that helps

was bored today so I tried out something with the niteshades... instead of smoking the lenses i smoked the orange reflector:


I also smoked a lense, though it came out kinda purple and uneven :\
