Cleared my turn signals - need opinions :)

Ok so i've had these clear signals sitting around for a while so the other day i finally went and got orange bulbs for them

Last night when I put them on I kinda didn't like them, though this morning they look better. I think i'll leave em on for a while before I decide if I like these or stock better.

anyways what do you guys think? keep the clear or go back to stock? here's a recent pic with the original signals for comparison

Call me old but I like the Old ones better.

maybe if you use Amber bulbs, it would look better?

I have the actual orange bulbs in mine after i cleared them. And it looks pretty good. Yours looks good as well.

well if there's gonna be any visible orange im just gonna go back to stock looking at the pix i think i like stock better anyways though i'm still interested in other people's opinions

i was going to do the same when i wanted to clear mine, leave them clear but use orange bulbs since i dont like the plain clear look....a little orange is good imo.

and frantik, im sure youre using those "hide the orange" bulbs. i think silvania makes them as well as phillips

yep.. i'm using the sylvania


on other 3geez i've liked the clear signals with silvered bulbs, but i've never really liked the clear signals with orange bulbs

Man I think that they look great. Looks much cleaner than stock orange lenses IMO. Especially on your car...

yeah they dont look bad at all...they sell some LED lights that are clear and when they light up they are amber

hmm actually I wonder how they would look with a tiny bit of nightshades on them.. the main reason i dont like them is that they're too bright now.. hmmmm

I like it how it is right now. Putting orange bulbs in is kind of pointless. It will look very similar to stock, and only the trained eye will be able to tell the difference. I have those same bulbs (blue look) that I bought for my car, and I was going to do the same thing that you did, but I never got to it because I have to take off the kit or take off the bumper just to be able to reach the screws for the bumper lights, which sucks, but that I will do that sometime soon.

I have mine cleared with orange bulbs. They do not look stock IMO.

i like how the silver bulb kinda makes it look blueish/green tint it matches the car im gona get a set sonn to i have the led's in already so it will be fully clear beside when the light is on lol

sweet! maybe i can get mrs pico to show me some painting tips too

on your car pico i think the clear with silvered bulbs looks real good but they seem to stand out too much on mine.. i think maybe the orange bulbs might help things but even more i think smoking them to match the way the jdm corners look will make an improvement.
