    Erebuni Wing

Hey guys, so I've had this Erebuni wing (or at least I think it's an Erebuni) that's been sitting in my garage for like 5 years now. I figured I'd finally pull the thing out of it's box and plant it on a sedan for you guys to see.

Let me know what you think about it.

    Thumbs Up?... ....or..... ...Thumbs Down?

...oh and before some clown points out the obvious, yes I know it's not painted, and I know I took a pic with my CD binder on it. (Don't worry, the CD binder is canvas, and is clean so there's no worries of scratching the paint, and it's there because the wing isn't mounted, it's just resting there and needs the weight to hold it down or else it would do a backflip off the trunk.)

...and no that's not my SE-i (although I definitely wouldn't mind). Another guy on the board was kind enough to let me use his to stage the wing on it. (thank you, you know who you are)

edit: sorry for some of the crappy quality pics. I hate this loaner camera I have right now (mine took a dirt nap a few months ago).

yeah, I'll keep that in mind (or not). Honestly I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on it. I don't have any need for it seeing that I only have a hatchie now, but I like it, and it's a piece of 3G nostalgia and I'm not sure what I want to do with it.

Put it up for sale. There are plenty of people that would offer enough money for you to not feel so bad about selling it.

And isn't that the one that OldSchoolSwap has on his car?

I love it, ahh heemm , I have two sedans. One needs a spoiler.

It sort of looks like an MR2 spoiler I was looking at in the JY, except that one was made from the foam stuff like a prelude spoiler. What is that one made of?
It will look much better painted body color, that is why is looks questionable if it does. Thumbs up

I decided to park it b/c I had way too many vehicles to maintain at that point, and this was the 'project' by that time already. Now with kids, a mortgage payment, and all the house work, on top of a 50-60 hr work week with a 70+ mile commute each day, and extra time does not exist. As for when she comes back to life, I honestly don't know, but I promise you'll know when she's back.

honestly I'm not sure. I don't think it is, but Juan was so secretive about that damn thing. i really don't think he ever ended up telling anyone what it was.

it does kinda look like an 'ol skool Mr.2 spoiler now that you mention it. This one's fiberglass. I agree on the paint thing. If I could find a white or all primered sedan to stage this on, I would, and it wouldn't look so weird.

    ....
The only thing I don't know that I like about this is that there are no threaded slugs glassed into the bottom of this to thread a bolt into it to affix it to the decklid. It looks like an ultra thin double-sided tape and/or a few lag bolts would be best to affix this. That, and to me it seems like it's about 1/2" too long, but then again I'm anal about the details.

I'm not opposed to selling it, as I would really like to see it painted and sported on a sedan. idk, i'm torn on it.

It's pretty aggressive. If the car was really low, it would be sweet, kinda make the car look long and fast. I say hang onto it if you don't put it on a car at least.

Sounds great. Only one minor problem. Put it on what car? I don't own a sedan or coupe.

well if he put it on my car it would always be dry and clean in my garage where the car sits and never moves. If he puts it on someone elses car it may get dirty and used. Thats no good.

    Re: Erebuni Wing

alright guys, well, the wonders of bargaining, and a bad starter, trim tab sensor, and power steering pump on my boat, I'm in a bit of a predicament.

As such, I'll let this useless (to me) wing go. To keep with the rules, I'll post up something in the trading post for it, and will accept offers via PM.

Please read my comments above regarding fitment and installation (neither of which I am a fan of with this wing).

    Re: Erebuni Wing

dam, I missed the last announcment.
I digress about the MR2, it only looks like it from the top, the MR2 1s gen looks horrible from the side.
I think I found some more of these though.
