pacesetters sells em too. pretty sure they are dumb cheap.![]()
I got my Pacesetter from Trak Auto of all places... the only one they had, box covered in dust, was for an 86-89 Accord.
I've been quite pleased with it. The installation was a PAIN for such a trivial part. You'll have to remove your exhaust and the heat shields to install it... no questions, no way around it.
You may also want to think about urethane shifter bushings since you're gonna have the shifter assembly dropped anyway. They also make a nice difference.... shifting is tighter and much more precise.
Good luck! :super:

yeah I was lookin at gettin one too.
but whats the diff between, the one that Pacesetter makes for our cars, and the civic ones??
is the civic one better, or is it just an alternative cuz it fits too??![]()

I just took a grinder with cutting wheel, chopped a couple inches off, and re-threaded my factory stick...... looks fine to me. I'd recommend making/purchasing a diff size booty though cuz it kinda bunches up if you dont.
