yeah, a few years ago when i tried removing the lenses on my tail lights, they didnt come off easily. even heated them up to make the glue unstick. they will crack and be useless if you try this unless you want to make your own lenses. but that'd be kinda wack if you just tinting them.

try looking in the FAQ or how to section. i have a number of hatchie taillights that are taken apart. i found that fill them up with hot water (not really hot or ull warp the lens) and let them sit in a battub with hot water loosens up the tar/sealant then its jsut a matter of using a good knife and it'll come out ok

Yeah you wont crack the lense unless you rush/force it.

It might not be as noticeable smoking them from the inside on USDM lenses... I mean You have the right idea but it would work better if you had JDM EURO lenses.

Hey guys. I was thinking about clearing my lights. At risk of sounding like a pansy though... I was just wondering if it is legal to do that. I mean, what if someone doesn't see the red brake light they are used to seeing, so they crash into you? And also, does anyone know how to clear the corners? Thanks

You can buy clear corner lights from procarparts.com. As fars as clearing the tail lights how do you plan on doing it? You would have to custom mold some type of plexiglass and silicone it in without it looking like ass. And as far as the color you just use colored bulbs if the lense is clear, you can get them at any car store. Your better off just tinting the lights with niteshades, my opinion of the clear/altezza tail lights is they are very "riceish" but it all depends on what you prefer. If your looking to do visual mods start with some H4 headlights, teg lip, wheels, oem visors and spoiler, ect. they will look a lot better then clear lights.

I don't think that they will. Our hatches have a completely different shaped light housing and lense when compared to sedans and coupes
