My "new" 89 LX-i and some progress on the 86'

Well Here's a couple pics of the progress on the 86. I made a slight CAI?
, by using the stock air tube and rerouting it, and using the other stock tube with filter on it. I have two air filters, but it's ok, because I definitely do not want any water in the engine.

Also here is my "new" 89 LX-I I picked up today for $250. I think the fuel pump is bad, but I'm gonna pick up a fuel pump and main relay at the jy tomorrow along with a drivers side turn signal and a door handle. It was extremely dirty but I cleaned it upa little bit, there is definitely more cleaning to come. It is going to be a scca car hopefully. Track car only, so all of the parts that come out will be going up for sale to help my progress. Gutting the car mostly. Perfect interior except a few things.

After she was cleaned a little./

whats up with the stuff down by the wheel? you should just remove that. and you removed the stock filter right I was thinking that was a good idea for those who didnt want to bother with making a short ram

Very nice. The hood has a few dents but otherwise just needs another wash and some wax

looks good. and yeah, you can probably remove the pipe out of the bumper altogehter because i get the feeling that the engine would probably suck the air from the engine bay first unless you physically restrict it to using that pipe for it's needs.

Lol ^ yeah I'm actually parting it out now, because it smokes a bit. I'm just wanting to get what I paid for it. Everything is mint except the pieces I am taking for my car. So far I've stole the springs/struts, and the spedometer cable.
