This is the deal. I have transferred money to the account that I'll be using to place the order early this morning I expect the funds to be available early next week which is the time I expect to be placing the order. I'm fronting the entire $5000.00.

I wrote Robert Adkins an email to this effect after talking to Brian (Militarymase) this morning.

The cost is $100 per gear, shipping as it stands should work like this if your are in the USA. Priority Mail is $8.10 to anywhere in the continental US. If you are out side the continental US we'll work out your shipping cost.

Ok well Priority is good,I did read the info but it was a long time ago and I was responding to the current post.... what is this insurance thing with MessyHonda ? Does Proirity have insurance and tracking numbers?
I am merely trying to get a definition on the security of this trade, and inquiring about the inconsistencey of one of the US customers needing insurance. In the best interest of all. If it is no big deal then disregard my concern.

In the end, it costs like $2 to insure a package for up to $150 through the USPS. It's worth it to me on a part like this simply because it's not often that we get group buys for parts, and they would cover the replacement of the item if lost or damaged. Both of the "insured" buyers have a posted payment of $3 or more higher than the $112 groupbuy price. This more than covers insurance in most cases. If nswst8 ends up with some spare change after he ships, then great for him. I don't see him pocketing more than about $0.50 this way. He fronted the money and he deserves it.

One thing I'd like to know is what will the cost be for the remaining gears? I really want one, but I won't be able to purchase one for quite a while. I'd happily parts trade, but I don't see anyone wanting to trade a gear for anything short of a full running 3gee. I'm expecting a reasonably higher price. It may be in your best interest to PM me the price if you are willing to set a price, though. That way if the market will sustain a higher price for these gears, you'll be fine. I understand how pricing works, and I would understand if the gear cost me more than a quote you gave me today when I purchase it several months from now.

well....i paid insurance cuz USPS are known for loosing packages(they lost my header that came in a x-mas tree box) then they found it like a week later....so yeah.....i read up and paid the 3 bucks insurance.

Just got off the phone with Golden eagle Robert Adkins passed me to a lady named Sherry who has informed me that the production run is 4 weeks behind schedule. Reason explained to me is that they waited to group a couple different runs and that there should not be any more delays.
