yes i know and most of the pic's are missing But for me to do how to wont help sins i have a B20a not a A20aX and there only a hand full of us with B20a's i might do a small write up for the B20a guy's but that would be it. Who needs to do a write up is guaynabo89 he has done it on a A20A3 and he did a sweet to. Take a look at his setup.

Re: The Black Box BE Gone

My car dosnt have the black box anymore, its an ODB 0.

The engine itself will run without it. We just ran a vac line straight off the intake for the dist. and 1 for the map sensor.
Most of the rest of it we arnt using anymore anyway.
Im not sure about a daily driver type car because theres alot of stuff weve took off and changed.
My cars only got 1 fuse left in the fuse box.

The point is, the engine dose fine without it. But if your driving the car everyday and your tired of looking at the box, your best bet is to buy some extra vac line and relocate it.

Well if your FI here the bad thing about that the Distributor is vac solenod controled by the ecu that why it has two vac lines on it and the same with the egr valve it opens at mid to hight rpms so you may get a engine light so that why i went OBD-1 + it runs so much better then OBD-0 and you can do so much more with OBD-1 for chipping.

Weve got a vac line running to the top nipple on dist and we got rid of the EGR valve. I dont have to worry about lights, got a metal dash

I would like to convert it to ODB-1 though. We deleted the extra wires the same way we did with the vac lines.
Started the car, cut a wire, if the car died, we reconnected it. If it kept running, we traced it down to the plug an cut it. It took almost an entire week.
Theres still more wires than I like for it to have, nothing like before we started though.
If I did convert it Id have to go through all that again.
