The End of a Era, For Me At Least..........

I have listed my FINAL set of OEM Key Blanks for our cars on ebay.



First Off I'd like to thank any of you that bought some off of me and I want to let everyone know THIS IS NOT A PLOY TO GET YOU TO BID ON MY FINAL AUCTION! I will not post the link to it in this thread, PERIOD.

But heres how it started:

I have one of my original keys wearing out, so I so spent about 5 hrs looking for a good online Honda dealer. I call 5 of the largest dealers in CA and had no luck,but then Finally I found one!

I order 8 or so blanks along with some other parts I needed for my car, I get them YAY THEY WORK!

I kept 2 for myself and sold 2 to Frantik, 2 to MKYmonkey.
Then later on I had 2 held for a fellow member who was unable to complete the sale, so he gracefully backed out and RamThis ended up buying them!

Then after this someone posted a thread looking for some of these exact OEM blanks, I posted the info that I had, then I decided to to a group buy at my cost.

I ordered 50 Keys and SOLD THEM ALL! But at my cost.

Then I talk to my dealer and they tell me that they are running low on stock, so I decided to order 60 Blanks (50 of our Style and 10 of 88-91 Civic/CRX) I sold these keys a bit above cost to forum memberssince I believe in giving discounts to our fellow members.

I also gave some away to fellow forum members.

Then I finally decided to try to eBAY some, that went with GREAT Success!

So now after my current ebay Auction ends, that will be it.



So once again, I'd like to thank everyone for the fun ride of getting and selling these keys and being able to grow some business sense and I believe some decent friendships off of them.

Glad I got mine. Still uncut as of yet, just waiting till the car looks as good as the keys that will go in it. Getting very close to finishing my other projects so I can get back on my Accord project!!! Just had the new baby six days ago, on the 21st, and have been sick for nearly two weeks now, so baby room did not get finished yet. I'm still sick but working on the room this weekend. Damn sinus infections. But yeah, on topic again, I cant wait to finish the car and use the new keys in my "new" car this year!!!
