Aftermarket Steering Wheels & Cruise Control Relocation

About to throw on an aftermarket steering wheel.

I'm guessing (?) that the cruisecontrol buttons are simple toggle switches, which I intend to relocate (with aftermarket switches) middle console area, near the handbrake.

Has anybody done this before?

Or are the switches DPDT (double pole double throw)?

they are simple switches,they take power from the horn circuit and it runs through the switches. you press the switch and it's 12v out. don't quote me on that,i'm tired,it may be ground,but i'm pretty sure it's 12v out.
