yeah when i was reading up on spark plug wires some said that the warranty would be voided if batt acid landed on it.....i would like to get a sealed unit later down the road....napa makes a batt with similar specs to the optima....il check them out since i can get a discount.

I forgot about them. Interstate makes one hell of a battery. My dad got 7 years on one.

I can't remember what the hell its called but it's cheap, and way too big for the battery tray in my Toyota. It"s a no name brand I got at my buddy's gas station for 90 bucks or so, the little label that said "1050CCA" sold me.

i have this Exide Orbital sealed battery. i compared the Exide and Optima, the exide was an over all better deal and is more powerful than the red top optima i was looking at. it was about $130, has a 2 year free replacement and prorated for 84 months. the specs for the one i have are: 1000 Cranking Amps / 770 Cold Cranking Amps / 95 Reserve Capacity
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™
