thanks, but she still needs some work bodywise, I got lucky and found another 88 hatch dx for $300 and its got a set of 14 inch alluminum directionals and loads of extra parts.

haha thanks for the "positive comments" but my plans are to get the body finished id like to get the painted bumpers for it and front lip, also im cleaning up those 14 inch wheels i have (ill post pics when i get the chance) i want to make er as clean as i can get it beleive it or not, the trunk and strut mounts are immaculate for east coast weather and we use salt here in the winter. as for engine, if I get lucky and find a b20 5spd ill hop on that quick but if not i may see what the carb can do for me, the engine has 354522 kms on er and the parts car has 225000 kms on it so if gonna play it will be with that engine. sorry for the long post

yea, if you actually look at the car, the enginehood and passenger side fender are a shade brighter than the rest of the car because the guy who owned it before me was at zellers parkinglot and sombodies truck ran over the front end slight rad support dammage if you notice the hood is a little off kilter over the headlight lid.

i dont think hatches got the face lift but the parts are still interchangeable

Im getting the idea that the hatch started to go out of style past 87, so they focused on the 2dr and 4drs. Its ok to say that you like your hatch more then a sedan, we all know it is true, Sedans = .

Washers and a pry bar can be your friend, that's how mine was fixed the first time. It's all good and proper now, but you can make that headlight flush on the cheap.

That hatch is quite clean otherwise and looks like a good platform to start with.

thanks again, yea i love my wagon, its a real conveniant automobile, its fast, you can go camping in it, and when i have kids, therell be plenty of room for 7 (but there wont be kids for a good while i think...maybe haha)
