I appreciate you not rushing to finish your car! It keeps me on a relaxed time table. You know that once either of us finishes hell is going to freeze over and the other will have to finish ASAP.

I think I'll have a built and tuned motor before the two of you get finished. I'm just waiting on the machine shop so I can start ordering bearings and blue print the block and have it balanced. I all ready have a tuner also he's about 3hrs away from me but he's already tuned my car once and was quite impressed with it.

Don't feel so bad my turbo b20a has been broke for 3 years now......Things tend to always take longer than expected especially when your working on something like our cars with a lack of support.
this is a bit off topic.. BUT i like how you have carbon fiber down the middle of your hood.. how and where did you get it done.. LOL i like!

If it takes me any longer than a year I'll probably sell the thing! Its annoying having a car that sits and you cant drive.(especially when all it needs is a tune and a couple of misc things)
Yeah Rob its not like we can go to any vendore like the civic boys and build a race car from off the shelf parts.
The hood is complete carbon fiber. I just had th hood painted that way and cleared.

my B16 hatch has been siting for about 4 months and every day i see it sitting in the garage it bums me out
I hate to see my car sitting, but It will make me real happy when it gets rebuilt. Then I will start putting a hurting on a lot more cars since 350whp will be quite fun.
Those are my goals on pump then maybe push over 400 if nothing breaks with race gas

My current turbo isn't big enough so I'm thinking about getting my buddies precision SC60 .60/.63 and it will be big enough to do almost 500.

I worked on my new car for two months straight. I didn't drive it in that period of time. I can't imagine what you guys feel like having to wait 6+ months. All I can say is you've gone this far, don't give up. You're close, and trust me its worth it. I love driving my new car.

wow this car is insane and gives me hope,by march 09 i should have about $8000 saved for my mustang was gonna turbo that but after seeing this screw my mustang.cant wait to see how much power you make,i am gonna start my turbo build soon just got a k24 turbo from an audi.get better we all need some more insperation
