These first couple of pics are of my Vibrant fart can muffler. Retail on this muffler is close to 200 dollars. Now thanks to all the ebay junk noone paid attention to this preticular muffler and I won the bid at a wopping 19.99 dollars and 20 shipping! lol Meanwhile little did people realize this brand muffler is up to par with magnaflow and the like.

    Nice setup.

What do you mean on par, materials used in construction and sound quality?
I don't doubt they will flow the same since it's hard to fkup a straight through.

Re: couple of teaser turbo pics

which muffler you using legend? The flat black ones?

The whole exhaust was painted flat black after it was made to. So the only thing left is a shiny tip. Its kinda a shame to cover up that nicely polished stainless steel but I like to keep attention drawn to my car at a minimum.

I think for a nice long runner one he charges about 700 or so depending on the design and how many hours to fab up. Mine was a package deal so I cant quote a specific price. The intake mani is an edelbrock unit.

Re: couple of teaser turbo pics

Well since Ive made no progress with this I figure I'll post some clutch n flywheel pics. This is my setup for the turbo project so hopefully it'll break in corectly and it will hold whatever this car puts out. Its an alum flywheel and clutchnet pp and 6 puck sprung hub.

Now as far as the flywheel Im going to tell a little story here. This is the reason I don't like Unorthodox Racing and will not buy any of their products. Back when I was on a search for an alum flywheel for the accord there were none made by any of the big companies.(98-99) I was searching the internet for a while and ran across a part number on an odd website. The website was for a company named Mueller Fabricators (SP) Well I called them up and they verified the part number and that they did make the flywheel for the accords. Unfortunately they did not sell direct to the public and I had to go through one of their retailers. When I asked who that would be they informed to get in contact with either Unorthodox racing, or Stillen Motorsports. Well I called unorthodox first. Needless to say I got the runaround. I explained to several people that they were a distributor for Mueller fabricators and they swore up and down that no they werent and tried to feed me a line amount x amount of money to get one made and needeing like 5 buyers etc. I extral slowly explained to them again and they were of no help and dint want to help. I called Stillen and received great customer service. The person i spoke to didnt recognize the manufacturer but researched it for a couple of minutes found the part number and a week later I had my brand new MF 8 lb alum flywheel.

Well theres more to this story. Take a look at these next couple of pictures of the flywheel. Note the closeups and the stamping with the letters MF.

Now I used to go to all the carshows I could make back then and Unorthodox always had stands at them. Well I look over theyre display models namely flywheels. Guess what I find on the unorthodox racing flywheels! A nice stamping of the letters MF on all their displays. (dickheads) I asked the guy there if they made all their flywheels or if they outsourced some of them? The person there responded that they make all their flywheels! (Dickheads!) Bastard either lied to my face, didnt know, or didnt want anyone to know. I dont know if they still get their flywheels from this company or finally started making their own.

I tried searching just know and couldnt find the website again but if yall need one and are desperate you can try contacting Stillen. They WILL help you out. Just tell em Mueller fabricators and if they're still a retailer for them. If by some miracle they still make em no problems you'll get something that looks like this.
