Thanks for the positive comments. I'm hoping things go well soon enough to finish with pictures and dyno sheet. Only time will tell though.
lol
I was supposed to be finished and running by last March!
id say your doing well being only 6 months behind now. I would expect for this to take much longer. Honestly, youve had one of the fastest turbo setups that ive seen personally get put together. On this board anyway.
well actually its been years in the planning. I only started posting about it when I finally had the manifold and charge piping made. Before that I was just collecting parts.
What actually helped me is that My block was already built to take some abuse since back in the day I was planning on running a serious wet nitrous system.
I just want to have a car back that I can reliably drive again.
WEll no progress since its still not running but, I figured Id post em some more pictures since I am extremely bored.

Get it together, maing. You need to get that thing to the meet. I'm hoping to see 2 turbo 3geez there!
shiny!
Looks nice, How hard was it to move the hi-pressure power steering hose over to the other side of the motor?
beast. did you fit the front bumper on yet after putting the IC there?
Yeah, the power steering hose relocation is something I'm willing to do with my NA car. I'm not a fan of that hose going across my engine bay.
wow your car looks way better than new! hard to believe that's an 18 yr old car.
The hose needs to be taken off the rack at where it threads. After that The whole flexible part needs to be redone including where it mounts on the pump so that it shoots back towards the firewall. It only cost about 40-50 dollars to get made.
Also If you notice next to i is another line. I actually had that made too. Thats the ac hose. I had it shoot back towards the firewall too.

I dont think I'll be able to make this one.Originally Posted by Vanilla Sky
Maybe next meet I can make it.

Actually, it's looking like I'm going to have to push it back about a month or so. Would that give you the needed time to get the car together?
mmmm boost
gotta get a video of a fire ball shooting out of it when its running

I really dont know at this point. Plus im going to have problems for a while where i wont be able to travel, so even if its running I wont be able to go on long drives. If its in Orlando I can swing buy for a few. lol
The only way I would have been able to use the 87 bumper if there would have been a xenon front bumper cover on it. Those have more room than the 89 bumpers too.
by far the sexiest turbo manifold i have ever seen.
