How do I take out the cover on the rear speakers. I want to change them this evening.
Do I do this from the trunk or from inside the car?
thanks.

from the trunk there shouyld be 4 8mm bolts i belive i could be wrong on the size then when u get the pods ou there is 3 or 4 philips screws
they are 4 10mm nuts...you can get them with a ratchet...then disconect the wires and push up the speaker...you might have to take a dremel to the covers since they are kinda small for most aftermarket rear speakers

How do I remove the door speakers? I guess I have to remove the entire door panel?
no there should only be 3 screws around the bottom
I'll check that tomorrow.
thanks again.
the thing that sucks on those door speakers is i havent be able to find an aftermarket speaker that fits and mounts up like a stock one
my pionerres lined up fine

its cool id rather cut and mod the mounting bracket for better quality speakersOriginally Posted by teck
i used to have a set of pioneer 5.25s in the factory brackets and then i bought a set of 5.25 to 6.5 adapters that were more of 5.25 spacers, so i had to cut the inner part out to fit my 6.5s
It's not failure, it's redefined objectives!

If you dont want to mod the covers, get some covers from an SE-i. They are 6x9's.
