    lx-i coupe's updating-ness (56k killer)

I got the engine swap and everything done about 1 1/2 months ago, but didn't have the title until like 3 weeks ago. I should have some more pics this week, depending on what work is like. I'm hopefully starting on the body work this week as well, as I work as a shop hand at a body shop and will be working on it after work.
    first off, my skinny ass

before we took the auto off

i forgot to take pics of the 5spd on the engine and installing it
    after it's all together

a few misc pics of my stereo install, still need to take some of the speakers installed

    my eq

I hope you didn't pay anything for that 15X2 amp.

Why not sell all your equipment(cd player, eq, 6X9amp) and buy a nice new headunit that is mp3 compatible, with onboard eq and keep everything simple? You will have a cleaner sound, cleaner install, and nice new headunit.

having an outboard eq gives you much more control over the sound, since most decks only have 2 or 3 bands whereas most half din eq's have 7-9. thats like a $400 deck (mp3 and wma compatible) i just bought for $100 (factory rebuilt with warranty). more components are a little harder to set up but will give you better control for fine tuning the sound.

    my current set up is:
Clarion DXZ655MP CD/mp3/WMA, CeNet (can control up to i think 3 devices, dvd/cd changers, iPod, tv tuner, Sirius sat. radio)
Clarion EQS746 7 band EQ with fader, sub volume control, aux in
MTX 4122 2ch running 6.5in Rockford Fosgate Power series
Clarion 15x2 (don't remember model) running 6x9 3way Alpines (rear fill)
    Orion 600d @ 600wrms @1 ohm running one Alpine 10" Type R

after i get the exterior done i will be adding a legend alternator, deep cycle battery, Sirius radio, changing my door speakers to 2 or 3 way components, 2way components for rear fill, something like a 30band eq/processor, another 2 channel or possibly a 4 channel amp, dvd changer, visor monitors, roughly in that order

i'm running a single type r 10 right now, thinking about changing to a 10" type x, would need a bigger amp though.

i think for this car i'm going more for interior and a/v. i may be getting a 90 civic std to play with performance wise.
