i beleave there is a prelude si at the junk yard
its got some sweet ass seats. im gooing to pick it up friday (please dont rain)
but it gots a motor with 120k on it and i was thinking that it might find its way into my car 88 acord lx
this engine has dohc and its fi
i was wondering how hard it could be to put this engine in my car ? and would it even be worth doing it if i do this im going to switch the tranny and everything manual baby ya.

you said it was dual cam so i'm assuming you're talking about a 3G lude, yeah their engines won't fit in our cars. it's probably possible but really not worth it in the end. dollar for dollar boost is the best thing for our cars, unless you're gonna do a vtec swap(custom and expensive) or JDM B20. whtever your plans, good luck.

I wouldnt even bother, the engine is gonna be faster in the Lude anyways. The Lude is much lighter than your Accord is. Unless the Prelude is wrecked of course...then in that case...you might be able to put it in your car with a bit of custom work. If I were you though, i would just save up a bit, and buy a new, better motor all together. Maybe a B16?
