B20A head To A20A3 block

what would happen if I bolted a B20A head to my A20A3 block? I have access to the B20 engine,but is has lower end problems. thought maybe I could at least benefit from the head,dual cams,etc. would this work? what distributer do I use?any thoughts?

Then you would get a non functioning engine... And there are several reasons for that.

can you get the b20a1 or is the the prelude engine? anways if it had lower end probs i would just rebuild it and drop it in.

the h22/23 heads bolt on to the f22/23 blocks and are quite potent setups, especially for turbo. so it is possible, just not in the 3g.

lol i would just spend the money on a b18vtec and pay money for mounts and wiring.

ok guys, thanks for slapping me to my senses........didn't realize there was a thread out there already...........gues I should stick to what I know ha=ow to do for mods and forget "short-cuts"....guess it isn't possible to pick up HP w/ any quickie changes.......scrap the DOHC add-on......didn't really want to get into a whole rebuild, but the B20A sounds like it might be a stout project,no?
