So....where's the update?
This is my 89 coupe LXI, I got this accord around 3 years ago (as my first car and w/ a lot of problems) and ever since I've owned it's been repairs after another (mostly mechanical), but even though sometimes it was a pain in the ass to get it fixed I still love this car. Before I ever found this site I didn't know what aftermarket parts (if any) they had for this car or all the different things you can modify . I did eventually found this site and join but since I didn't know a lot about forums and then my Internet was disconnected I forgot about this site . About a year later we got the Internet back and eventually found this website again (I think it was by accident). I did lurk around then did my intro (after 2 years, FAIL) and here I am.
These are all the major things I've done to the car so far (that I can remember).
I cleaned the interior (it needed one badly), j/y wheels and new tires, new motor mounts, better p/s pump, new rack and pinion, used p/s high pressure hose, clutch, cd player, CV shafts (both), timing belt, oil pump O-ring (from switching to synthetic). I recently tinted the windows, added a prelude steering wheel and changed the passenger side CV shaft for the 3rd time (in less than 3 years) and soon I will have to do the driver side again (good thing they have lifetime warranty)

Prelude steering wheel
This is how I drove it for a couple days now freshly tinted .......Where is the bumper?
oh there it is yay!
love the interior

Well, my dad and me have been working on this for a while.
Before eeek!
I cut a piece off so it would bend better
now it's looking much better
I used this to straighten it out
Since I could never find an intega lip at least I could use the clips
This wasn't the cleanest fiberglass job but it did the job and besides nobody can see it
Not to bad for my first time working with bondo
I kind of wanted to cut the ends off but my dad convinced me to glue them back on and I'm glad I did that
I added bondo later
I already painted it and I just need to install it........ after I fix the leak I found on the car yesterday
Who you calling a HOMO you HOMO. LOL
That's some nice work there. Where's the pic of it installed though? At least snap a test fit pic for us!

So I finally found the coolant leak and It was a bitch to find.
The leak came from the bottom hose and if you can see the pipes were very dirty
If you see the hose is pretty bloated with a pin size whole
old vs. the first one I put on
Got the pipes nice and clean, then put everything back YAY!
I started the engine and I was hoping it wasn't going to leaking but the hope was gone in a few minutes . So I took it apart again, while it was still hot, and got a smaller hose. It did feel a lot more snug so I was confident it was it wasn't going to leak.
Put it all back together again, crossed my fingers, and started the car and.............. IT DIDN'T LEAK
Took a picture of the engine bay after I cleaned it.
Good job
it looks good. now all you have to do is drop the car couple inches

I have to say that's the first lip I've seen that looks right on these cars. Very nicely done!

I will
I found them in the j/y for $60 but they were in pretty rough shape. It took us a week to get them looking like that. They're Prime wheels this what they looked like new http://www.primewheel.com/prime_spec...0&wheelimg=188
Thank you but I think the integra lip look good too, I just never found one.
Ever since I tinted the windows (three weeks ago) I've been driving without door and back panels so we decided to take the top part and re-upholster with some vinyl we had. In the end it looked alright also the sponge we put was too thick but by the next day it started to fall off , so we left it like that and forgot about it.
This is when we did it.
IT'S NAKED!!!
This is how it turned out (you can see my thumb print on the side)
Yesterday, we were cleaning the garage and since most of my interior is taking a lot of space we decided to look for a shop that does upholstery so I can put everything in my car again. We eventually found one and they asked me what color I wanted and this is where I'm stumped. The guy that was doing it told me he needed an answer by Wednesday morning cause thats when he's going to work on them.
So should I get ivory or go with black?
Well the guy that was doing my interior pieces called me last night and he needed an answer so I gave him one. He told me they would probably be ready this afternoon. I'll post pictures when I get them.
Well I finally got my interior pieces and they're AWSOME!!! way better than what we did. Now the bad thing it is that I have to sand and paint all the little trim pieces that have been sun damaged for 20yrs.
I did do one really "fast" and this is how it turned out (took me about an hour)
New(semi) vs. old
Now I have to that 10 more time and put it back together.
looks good bro. i want to redo my door panels in the front as well espeially the drivers side. i slammed the door and the top piece broke and now it just flops when u open/ close the door.
