    ouch

damn, my car is now scared.

    creased the hood.
    bent the fender.
totally smashed in the headlamp assembly.
    busted the corner lamp.

the fender, light bucket and corner lamp are no big deal, easily fixed.
but the hood... there is almost no way to pound that out. due to
the "support" metal just behind that crease on the underside of the hood.

150K+ Miles with only minor scratches and door dings,
and a thing like this happens. ouch.

at least you didn't damage your bumper too. i had a similar crash = similar damage, but i had to replace my bumper support as well and my fubar'd bumper is still on the car. though i didn't damage my hood, so i guess it's even. but yeah, won't be hard to fix, especially with the jy to help you.

    Re: ouch

yeah it could have been worse, but still!

what sucks is the jy has been really muddy for the past week or so,
swamp like even, so no replaments yet. and i can drive only during the day wthout being hasseled by the "man" . a missing light dont matter in the daytime.

    im just being dramatic.
not worried about it damage again or whatever.

but i do got out of my way to park far away from the normals
in parking lots, try to consiously avoid potholes, that sort of thing.
general things you can do to lessen the "normal" wear and tear on a car.

it just sucks to get a smack like this one.
