Should have saved your money.
Just kidding! I like DXs, too. They're already stripped so you don't have to do it.
Welcome to the forum.
Do a F.I swap while you have the engine out. you'll be happy you did![]()
nice clean car....like everyone else said do the fuel injection swap. also what are the specs that you are going to build your motor with?

$30 for a car = good deal. Welcome to 3geez. It sucks that the engine is seized, but it will be fun to rebuild an engine. You came to the perfect spot for that
Very nice project.

1989 Accord LX: Sold with 208k-now somewhere around 230k with new owner
Current:
2014 Elantra Sport 6MT
2000 Montero Sport 4x4 (beater, trail rig)
It's almost like you have a blank canvas. Use your brush wisely
Thanks for the welcomes to the group. Here is the short and dirty on the car. Never been wrecked, Only rust is the lower rocker on the drivers side from sitting parked outside for 3 years. Left front coil spring is broke. Interior was clean. Pulled the interior to inspect fuel and brake lines under carpet. I have been considering the FI Swap. Found a few complete needs lists for the FI Swap here already. Harness, ECU, and other tid bits. My new short block is bored 20 over. Should be here next week. Have the new head sitting and waiting. I would like to do the Si rear disc swap. Hard to find all the parts right now. Pretty clean slate as it sits.
Also to speedpenguin's post...Had a 91 Eclipse..I actually miss it..Lost it in Hurricane Katrina. guess she had an appetite for DSM's..LOL Also had an 85 Tercel 2 door Hatch that I converted to AWD SR5 with the 6 speed Manual..Fun ride...Also Ate up by Katrina...Now I am back with my clean slate 3G.
nice find for 30$ good luck andOriginally Posted by Nemisis

Quick Update. The new head is in. Should have the block in a week. Gonna finish pulling the Old Trans and Block this week.[IMG][/IMG]
Where is the DIY Thread for the FI conversion from the Carb DX setup? Need a complete pull list when I go to the salvage yard Friday.
fyi the rear discs come from an SE-i not an Si
