    rear speakers for a hatchback

i have a dx hatchback and im interested in dropping in some spearks. i know where they go and stuff. i just gotta remove the felt stuff and the plastic out of the plastic piece that holds up the cover in the trunk.

my question is is there a easy way to remove the felt from the top piece of the plastic without ruining it and replacing it back making it look nice?

Yeah do what I did. When you get the plastic thing off that has the felt and the metal mesh on it, turn it over and look at the underside of it. You'll see little tabs of the mesh, with felt on it, that poke through the plastic. Bend the tabs away from the plastic so that they point up and this should allow you to take the plastic off of the mesh and then remove the felt.
