right i know theres a thread around somewhere but i cant find it but you know that silly center console mounted speaker..what does it do??

-useless thing that shouldnt be there
im interested cause i might see about hookin it up if it helps in my other accord....

It's a woofer.
It's because there are like factory 4" speakers in the doors, this is used to create the bass. I actually had a working one way back when these cars were only a decade old.
Where exactly was the speaker located? I never found anything like that in there before
