Marysville, Ohio plant tour this spring.

I have decided to make a new thread about a tour of the Honda plant in Marysville. I highly reccomend anyone in central Ohio should make an effort to make it, I took the tour back in 95 and I was impressed. The plant is about an hour north of Downtown Columbus.
Here is some nice propaganda from Honda that I found.
"The Marysville Auto Plant produces the Honda Accord (4 and 2 door models) and the Acura CL and TL models. This Plant is one of the most integrated vehicle manufacturing facilities in the United States, with the capability to produce 440,000 automobiles a year. It was the first auto plant in the United States to produce both left- and right-hand drive models on the same production line."

I am writing a letter to the tour dept to see about the availability of a tour in April or May of next year. I need to know how many members are willing to participate.

That seriously sounds really cool. If I lived closer I would have to say hell yea, but since I live in PA and its a bit far away I will have to think about it. But keep me posted.

I sent the letter today and am waiting to hear back.

I saw that other thread, it was a bit long and dated so I decided to start this thread to see about interest in a tour and post a poll.

That sounds damn good. As long as the 3g still has a motor in it, I'll come. I think it would educational but fun at the same time.

Im from there, I lived there for 15 years in between the HS and Herbert Mills. Last time I was back I saw that Main st. was all fuckered up. Man the cops suck there.

I sent them a letter last week. All nice and formal looking. I am still waiting on a response. I hope to get as many users there as possible. Any other Honda's are welcome so I'll have a few friends show up. 5 of my friends have Civics. Only 1 Accord and its down for the moment.

I have an update, kinda.
When I wrote the letter to Honda I put my old address in Ohio for the return address on accident. I had my snal mail forewarded to my new address. I have not recieved anything forewarded in over a month. So there is a backlog of my mail somewhere in the system. I called the Reynoldsburg post office and they are looking into the matter. I know there is a backup because I have not recieved any bills like car insurance or CC in over a month. Luckily I can pay that stuff online. So I hope to get the mail soon, I am sure that Honda has responded to me by now.

I wrote a letter to honda (CA) asking if they were every thinking about a convertable (like the solara) and they called me on that..... that was a funny phone call "the phones for you" "who is it?" "honda" "why is honda calling me?" "I don't know just pick up the phone" "I don't want to" <beep> "hello?" yes!

oh hehe, pretty uneventful, they said no they don't have any plans.... I was nervous on the phone cuz the lady was really nice and stuff. she told me that there wouldn't be much of a market or something. oh well convertible are loose as hell
