Finally a solution!!! I was looking for the old pumps they used to use on brittish cars for the SUs. they used to say AC on the pumps,on MGs,Austin Healys etc. the old pump that used to go click....click....click...click... when you were driving. they are an on demand pump for carbed cars, they are made by Walboro pumps, they discontinued the old 2000 series versions of them, but they have upgraded the design. these pumps have a 48 inch capable dry lift to the pump, that means they can pull fuel out of the tank and then down to the pump. they have a continuos run version, and an intermittent run, that means it pumps on demand. these are designed for carbed vechicals and are a perfect match for our carbs and fuel system. all you have to do is mount the pump, take the original pump off the hanger, replace it with a pickup and some sort of screening,i would say take a filter off of a needle valve from an old carb. you would probably have to run a seperate circuit for the power, just use the existing circuit to power a relay so the safety system functions right. here is a link
