Yeah more pics!
wow in a show room even
Might as well do some work in the enginebay while there's room to work on.
You can see how the wiring harness is wrapped up again. The enginebay ends of the harnesses wont get finalized before the car is getting put back together.

your sedan looks shmick mate
fn awesome
hope mine looks that good wen finished
the areodeck looks like its comin along real well
hey are you relocating the brake line prop valve thing?
thats cool, i been wanting to do the same too, did you just bend the hard lines till you got it where you wanted? and the welded up holes look so nice, lol i wish i could do that ahha
Yes I managed to bend the old lines without getting any kinks or anything on them, but you have to be careful when you change the bends on steel lines. If I hadnt been able to get the old lines how I wanted I would have made my own lines, but the old ones had just the right length to reach where I wanted them to go.
I finished welding up the other side of the enginebay tonight. I'm probably going to start doing some rough bondo work in the enginebay tomorrow with fiberglass putty.
I've also relocated the powersteering reservoir.
First layer of bondo. Is supposed to close up the weldings. I'm most likely going to let the paintshop give it the finishing layer of bondo.

This car is going to be awesome. Was there any rust in that part of the car?

I need these parts!

Only in the lower rad support. And inside the front wheel wells there's some small tabs that are used for holding the plastic inner fender in place. The lower one in each side was rusted away. And on the left side I replaced a small piece where the wheel well meets the kicker panel, it's where a plastic grommet used for holding the splash guards has it's place.
But no serious rust in the front end, only what was in the old rad support. Other than that it's just some very minor rust spots.
How's the hatch treating you?
perfect!!

dont understand why you're doin the bondo in the engine bay eh dude
i like to think that we should do up our cars in a way that old man honda would approve of
we all know he was a mad keen racer
and with exception of the exterior appearance, the cars shoud tend toward the race car side of things.
dont get me wrong, i like a car to look good
i just dont see the point of doin show cars which it seems to me, you are doin.
but i spose we are entitled to our own interpretations eh
