do those radiators fir the accord also?
do those radiators fir the accord also?
No. not directly. You can see that I've moved the lower radiator mounts and placed them in a lower position. And had to cut off and reposition the upper radiator mounting tabs. I also trimmed the upper rad support bracket some to make it clear the rad, and made the support bracket more symmetrical so the Griffin brand on the radiator is better visible.
do u think if i gave u a list greatdane u could see if they stil avaible at honda iv looked all over in the states
rhd restoration 2nd gen prelude
Great to see some more progress from you. Nice job on the rad, it should do the trick for you and sounds like it wasn't that much of a hassle to get in.
You can check here: www.lings.com
If they dont list the part your looking for as being ready to order it's 99% certain that you're not going to find it in europe or japan. It looks like the prelude roof is not available anymore.
Thanks, I had some trouble getting the radiator studs rewelded since I didnt have a tig welder and the lower rad hose neck was interfering with my new crossmember. But other than that it's fairly simple to install.
So. My Aerodeck was picked up by the paintshop friday last week
And today I was out looking at a wrecked low mileage Aerodeck that I found for sale. Wasn't as fresh as I had expected but I think it will do. I plan on picking it up next week.

shit, I ordered a set of calipers from the US and now that I've recieved them it turns out that I ordered the wrong calipers. The calipers I recieved were ITR calipers.
I'm usually pretty thourough before ordering anything from the US but I more or less took a shot with these lol. Well at least that's the first time I ordered something from the us that was a mistake.
Also forgot to mention that I had to ditch the Xenon sideskirts. The alignment of them just didnt meet my satisfaction. I had to tilt the bottom om the doors outwards as much as they could which would make them pinch the door weatherstrips at the top of the door. Really sucks because I love their design.
I hope to pick up the spare aerodeck on wednesday.
Picked up the donor vehicle yesterday together with an ass load of spares.

Partly my new front brake setup.. Hopefully wont be using the caliper that is mounted on the hub in these pics. The disc's center bore and fix screw holes are perfect but the offset of the disc is a bit different as you can see. The rusted disc and caliper on the table is the old 262mm (10.3") stock setup
Started sanding the interior today, oh boy what a cunt job!.. At the paintshop:

Looks like a fun job lol.
I hate sanding.
I think I said before that it's gonna be like new... I take that back. It will be better than new!
