I get those numbers as 825 front 925 lbs/inch in a rough conversion. Damn and you guys thought I was crazy with 600/400.

I think this is great work.

Is there any chance that a more stock ride height can be achieved or something close to it ?

Not crazy, just devoted . You could definitely get something close to stock. Options can be choosen from an array of spring rates. (3.5, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, and 22 kg/mm) and you can choose back and front separately.

so can we use any 4th gen rear shocks or do they have to be part of a coil over kit? or do just just have to have adjustable spring perches? cause then we could use koni yellows for 4th gens

Well, you would not be able to use any 3gee springs, because the 4th gen springs are much smaller in diameter. I dont know if the strut would be to short as well. Honestly that would need to be tested.

You know it's my duty as a Texan to make you oklahomans look bad . I need to build a better motor, finish the rear brakes, and turbo. Then I need to paint and get some seats to finish this car .

The suspension could definitly be raised back to stock, and still maintain the pre-load. I think I went with a little to stiff on the rear for a daily driver though. I have gotten the wheels close to coming off the ground while moving a couple times now, and It definitly handle very well in a track like situation. I really need to get a better daily driver .

That's where helper springs come into play-- more articulation, basically.

As for stiffness, yeah, you def went overkill, though I'm not entirely sure what the wheel rate is for the Honda (since 18k isn't a true 18k, more like 14k, which is still way too stiff, esp. for d2 dampers).

Well the dampers work great with the spring rate, it's jsut my ass and back that dont work so well with the setup . I really like the stiff ride, but for a street application I would go down one set of spring rates.

Thanks P|eszczoH, after owning a 1st gen Legend I am happy to have a car with interchangeable parts from other cars. As for my next project, I have a turbo kit and I am working on all the necessary fuel parts to make it work.

You know you can buy full coilover kits from Hot Bits? And they start from $800 upwards depending on what options you want.
