    exhaust help

Ok, i have the 4-2-1 Pace Setter Heads, a new Test Converter to replace my blown out Header/Converter... only problem is that even if i do bolt on replace its going to be about a foot short of reaching to the back. should i take it to a shop and get it connected right? or should i cut seperate and weld it longer? im just wondering because my exhaust leeks and im loosing alot of power cuz of my exhaust and it sounds like a dieing animal. lol. just need some ideas.

What do you mean by "a foot short of reaching to the back"? The header should be of equal length of the stock parts replaced. Is the test pipe shorter than the stock cat? An excellent option would be to weld a flex pipe in place of the ball joint, making it longer.

my stock cat sits back farther, and my new cat and head fit snug together. and theres still a 5-6'' gap reaching to the other piece of the exhaust. i just want it done. but i want my exhaust done right this time not ghetto rigged. lol

all pacesetter parts are designed on with in OEM specs. Who ever changed your exhaust last time fucked it up big time. Get yourself pacesetter cat back and you should be set to go.
I had pacesetter headers, magnaflow bolt on cat (factory replacement) and pacesetter cat back and everything bolted right up without any problems.
