    Installed my voltmeter

Since my charging system is acting up, I thought it would be a good idea to have one. I didn't fix my flickering lights problem yet.

The meter itself if just a cheap Auto Gauge (Auto Meter ripoff lol). I don't care as long as it does the job fine.

I mounted the meter next to my radio, replacing the original coin tray. I cut a plastic covering the original hole. There is a small gap which I will fix later with fiberglass or something.

Sweet! Looks good. Glad you didn't cut any of the factory plastic to make that work. So what's your voltmeter telling you? Looks like it's just under 12v with the car off. Also, where did you hook it to?

I guess my battery is dying. It shows ~14v while the engine is running. The meter is hooked up to the fuse box. It came on only when the ignition is on.

As for the pedal, I'm used to it. Not a problem when its wet I am looking for new OEM pedal covers. It looks like covers from newer Hondas will fit. Anyone can confirm this?

Man, that looks tidy. Hope it works out for you. I would think that pedal covers are standard for almost every car. You could probably get a universal set at an auto parts store. I would assume later Honda models covers would fit as well. Personally, I'd replace all 3 pedals covers at once for that seamless look.

Yeah, the pedal covers are the same even on the new RSX's. So there should be plenty in stock at the Honda dealer.

Man, I have those EXACT same battery terminals, but they're "gold plated". Mine didn't come with those nice covers either. I can't run SCCA Solo without the covers... Gonna have to look for some, 'cause those look nice!

    Re: Installed my voltmeter

auto gauge is an autometer brand. same thing just a little bit lower on the brand name label. as far as the pedal covers,a lot of the early hondas had much smaller pedals then later ones, i ran into this problem a lot with my old civics. the dealer kept ordering and they wouldn't fit, finally i brought an old one in and they were amazed at how small the pedals were. i had to order ones from a 70's honda for an 81-83. Mr. Honda loved Italian cars, and a tradition in italian cars were very small pedals, better for hell and toe shifting. they got changed though later on,probably because so many americans didn't like the smaller pedals.
