i have this odd problem here, these 2 things are in the way of each other when i try bolting the gearbox to the engine :(
how do i fix this? what are they for? can i just chop them off?
it's a b2k5 gearbox on a black top if that info helps any

just pull one off
There dowell pins. They help you line it up when you bolt it to the engine.
there should be one on each side

Yep, pull one out and put it in the other side. Looks like they're both in the same side of the tranny / engine.
